• İlave bir güvenlik önlemi ise alev sürgü mekanizması açıkken yakıt dolum noktasına erişimin engellenmesi. Bu da burner kit yeniden yakıt doldurulmadan önce şöminenin tam olarak söndürülmesini mecbur kılar.
• Mükemmel dizayn edilmiş alev sürgü mekanizması, doldurma noktası ve yakıt sistemi deposunun görülebilmesine olanak sağlar. Bu da burner kit maksimum yakıt kapasitesinden fazla dolumu engeller.
